Not far away is the Nightcap State Park, and Protester Falls. Apparently in the 1980’s there was still a lot of logging in the area, and various groups protested against this. Finally, in 1989 logging was forbidden and the forest was saved – now the falls are called after the protesters. As you can see, it is really a tropical forest.

On commence avec un passage en bois - et puis un petit pont. We begin with a boardwalk - and then on to a narrow bridge.
Beacoup de rochers - lots of rocks.

Et enfin les Chutes des Manifestants. Finally, Protester Falls.

Any idea why 'protestor'? Lovely green site. It will be quite a contrast to your trip across the continent by train - I've always wanted to do that.
Sorry, reading apparently not my strong point ;-)
