Nous avons rencontré Nicole tout à fait au début de nos séjours au Cap. Elle donnait des cours de photo, ce dont j’avais besoin - et comme elle est originaire du Congo (anciennement le Congo belge), elle parle français! Nous sommes devenus amis avec elle et avec son mari Guy, ils nous ont rendu visite à Carlux, et c’était un vrai plaisir de les revoir cette année.
We met Guy and Nicole early on in our visits to the Cape. She gave photo classes, which I badly needed, and we soon discovered that she was from the Congo (formerly the Belgian Congo) and spoke French! We became friends with her and with her husband, Guy, and it was a delight to see them again this year.

First, to Ken Forrester wines, not far from Stellenbosch. We didnt buy anyhting, as we were leaving in two weeks (and still had lots of stock!)

Un caméléon, malheureusement mort, mais toujours beau. A dead chameleon, still beautiful.
