 Et puis Paluel , qui date du XVe, incendié par les Allemands en 1944, et acheté en 2017 par un Carlucien, Etienne Cluzel.  Elizabeth est ravie !

The Chateaus de Paluel dates back to the 15^th century, but was burned by the Germans in 1944, and bought in 2017 by Etienne Cluzel, of Carlux. Elizabeth loves it!

Des oies – plus méchants qu’il parait – ils nous ont chassés !  The geese, nastier than they look – they chased us.

 Puis le château de Fénelon, pas loin d’ici – on peut le voir de Carlux. 

Then, a slightly smaller chateau at Fénelon, not far from us.  We can see it from Carlux.

 Ça fait 5 ans que ma famille n’est pas venue a Carlux.  Donc, j’étais ravie d’accueillir ma sœur et ma nièce encore une fois a Carlux.  Elles avaient déjà vu pas mal de châteaux, églises, villages, mais quand même nous avons trouvé des lieux à revisiter ou à voir pour la première fois.

We haven’t seen any family here in Carlux for 5 years and so we were very happy to welcome my sister and my niece back to our village.  They’ve already seen quite a few chateaux, churches, village, but we were still able to find some new things to see – and to revisit old favourites.
