Nous avons commencé
dans le Marais Poitevin,où il y a beaucoup de canaux. Les autres se faisaient ramer dans des
barques, mais mon ancien scout voulait un canoé – et il en a trouvé un.
We stopped off in the Marais Poitevin, a region full of
canals. Other people were being transported
in punts, but my former scout wanted a canoe – and he found one.
Nous n’étions pas
les seuls. We weren’t the only
ones there.
Les racines dans
l’air d’un arbre tombé dans l’eau. Tree
roots in the air, from a tree fallen into the canal.
Pas dans un
canal, plutôt dans la ville. Not
in a canal, but in the town.
