descendre jusqu'à Beaulieu.Plus dur que
prévu – j’étais contente de rester chez nous.Quelques

Sometimes we do other things than eat. Harry went out on a day trip with the club, to
Argentat, higher up on the Dordogne.It

Une fois de plus
le mois d’août arrive, et avec, La Fête des Crêpes – le 47e !Malheureusement pendant le weekend le plus
chaud de l’été : 40 à l’ombre.Beaucoup
plus au soleil, et pour les crêpières. Mais on a survécu.

Samedi. Saturday:

– à l’ombre et on a chaud. 40 in the shade, and we're hot, but still working.

Toto dance - avec beaucoup d'autres. Toto is dancing, along with lots of other people.
Tout le monde chante. Everyone is singing.
On recoit tout le monde - everyone is welcome.
Yves fait la vaisselle. Yves is doing the dishes.
Et a minuit, on mange. Finally at midnight, we manage to eat.
