Le 10 février. Rust en Vrede

Encore un vignoble, qui s’appelle Rust en Vrede,  La paix et la tranquillité.

Another vineyard, this time Rust en Vrede, which means Peace and quiet

A midi il n’y a que du steak ou du saumon.  Le soir c’est un resto gastronomique.  (Le serveur m’a demandé si je comprenais l’expression ‘restaurant gastronomique.  Je lui ai dit ‘j’habite la France!)

At noon they serve steak and salmon only.  At night there is a ‘fine dining’ restaurant.  (The waiter asked me if I understood ‘fine dining.’  I told him ‘I live in France!’)

Nous avons mangé a l’intérieure – il faisait 38+ degrés.  D’autres personnes étaient plus courageuses.

We ate inside, as it was at least 38 degrees.  Others were braver and ate outside.

La table vient d’un autre vignoble, Haskell, à côté.  Bonne idee.

 The table actually comes from another vineyard just next door, Haskell. Good idea.
