Dresde – pour nous, la génération après-guerre, la ville est connue pour les bombardements de 1945, qui ont tué approximativement 25 000 personnes.  De la voir maintenant, presque complétement reconstruite, était très intéressant. 

Dresden, for my generation, born just after the war, is known for teh 1945 bombings, which killed about 25,000 people.  To see it now, almost completely rebuilt, was fascinating .

 Nous avons vu plusiers institutrices en robes du 19e.  We saw several teachers dressed up in 19th century costumes.
