C’est le jour où nous allons a l'hôtel près de l’aéroport du Cap, pour notre vol le lendemain –qui avait attrapé un retard de 2 ½ heures. Donc, pas de correspondance a Munich, la nuit dans un hôtel encore une fois, vol de 6h30 à Toulouse. Très fatigant !!
The day we went to our airport hotel in Cape Town, to be ready for our morning flight to Munich – which was 2 ½ hours late. Missed connection, night in a Munich hotel, 6.30 flight the next morning to Toulouse. Exhausting.

Then with friends Sharron (from my aqua aerobics classes) and her husband Brian to the vineyard at Stellenzicht, which has a ‘wine pod’ where you can taste wine and eat pizza. Really out in the country.

Nous avons rencontré Nicole tout à fait au début de nos séjours au Cap. Elle donnait des cours de photo, ce dont j’avais besoin - et comme elle est originaire du Congo (anciennement le Congo belge), elle parle français! Nous sommes devenus amis avec elle et avec son mari Guy, ils nous ont rendu visite à Carlux, et c’était un vrai plaisir de les revoir cette année.
We met Guy and Nicole early on in our visits to the Cape. She gave photo classes, which I badly needed, and we soon discovered that she was from the Congo (formerly the Belgian Congo) and spoke French! We became friends with her and with her husband, Guy, and it was a delight to see them again this year.
