Début décembre –nous nous adaptons. We are settling in.

Plusieurs personnes ont demandé s’il y a une plage ici (en fait, on est dans la ville de Strand, le mot pour ‘plage' en afrikaans.  Oui, un peu, mais pas terrible devant chez nous.  Beaucoup de rochers.  Les pécheurs sont contents.

Several people have asked if there is a beach here – we are in fact, in a town called Strand, which means ‘beach’’ in Afrikaans. Yes, but not great – lot of rocks.  People fishing though.
