Nous
voici arrivés en Nouvelle Zélande, à Nelson, Ile du Sud. On commence notre premier échange de maisons, dans une très belle maison avec vue magnifique sur Tasman Bay (Abel Tasman, découvreur de la Nouvelle Zélande, et de la Tasmanie en 1642). Les maisons autour de la baie sont collées contre la pente – même plus raide qu’a Carlux! Vous verrez le drapeau français pour nous accueillir.
On n’a pas encore fait beaucoup – je pense qu’on a besoin d’un peu de repos après les long voyages, et surtout après notre semaine difficile au Canada, où la maman de Harry est morte.
We’ve reached New Zealand, where we will spend almost two weeks in our first house exchange, a lovely house with a wonderful view over Tasman Bay. Abel Tasman discovered New Zealand and Tasmania in 1642. The houses climb up from the bay – the hill is even steeper than where we live. Note the French flag, to welcome us.
We haven’t done too much yet – mostly recovering from the long flights to get here, and also from the difficult time we had in Canada, with the death of Harry’s mother.
