Du travail partout. Christian (le chef!) dirige, Arnaud reconstruit les murs, en les préparant pour la nouvelle charpente. Il a déjà fait, avec Daniel, deux jolis rangs de génoises, avec des lauzes, anciennement une partie du toit.
Guy installe des gouttières devant la maison, le jeune regarde la tranchée qui apportera du courant au fournil, et pourquoi pas, Gaétan fait un peu d’élagage.
Work – and disruption everywhere. Christian, the boss, directs, Arnaud rebuilds the walls, getting them ready for the new roof. He and Daniel have already made two lovely rows of ‘génoises’ decorative stonework, made from lauzes, broad pieces of stone which would have formed the orginal roof.
Guy installs the eaves troughs (guttering) in front of the house, their young helper checks out the trench dug to take electric cable out to the bake house, and why not, Gaétan does a bit of tree pruning!
