Whian Whian.

We didn’t know anything about this area before coming, but we remembered that the last time we were in Australia we were very impressed by the rain forest. So, on 5th January, a day when it wasn’t raining, we took a trip to the parks of Whian Whian and Nightcap, about 50 km. from Alstonville.

First to Whian Whian, for the Minyon falls. It’s not easy to see in the photos, but the falls are over 100 metres high. Very impressive. We even found a little snake there.

Then, while trying to explore another part of the park, we had to give up because of the water. But we did see a big lizard – almost prehistoric.

Krys and Paul a dit…

Beautiful falls! Amazing how lovely water can be when it's not creeping up the walls of the house!
