A la base de canoés - at the canoe club

Il faisait chaud, mais meilleur à côté de la rivière.  Donc, on  est allé à la base de canoés pour ‘l’auberge espagnole.’

It was hot, but better by the river.  So we went down to the canoe club for their Friday pot luck evening.
