Nous sommes allés
au château de Commarque, entre Sarlat et Les Eyzies. Le château date du 12e siècle, et inclus des
sites troglodytiques. Avec son accès difficile,
le château est parfois appelé ‘le Château inconnu’ Parfait pour mi-aout, avec des milliers de
touristes au châteaux plus connus. Exceptionnellement dans cet été de sécheresse,
il pleuvait lundi matin – mais ça a rendu le château plus romantique !
We went to the Château of Commarque, between Sarlat and Les
Eyzies. The chateau dates from the 12t
century, and includes troglodyte caves.
Difficult to find and enter, the chateau is sometimes referred to as the
‘Unknown chateau’. Perfect for the
middle of August, when the other chateaux welcome thousands of tourists. Unusually
in this dry summer, it was raining on Monday morning, but that just made it
more interesting and romantic.
