31 janvier Le Nullarbor

And then the Nullarbor.  Not an Aboriginal word, but derived from Latin, nullus arbor, no trees.  And the longest straight road in the world – 478 km.  Stop at Cook where the population is 4!  Not terribly welcoming, but
at least a sense of humour - Cook country club

Krys and Paul a dit…

Not that similar to the prairies - they have more going on. I don't suppose they had an observation car - it would be too hot! Did the train keep cool?

The Wine Mule a dit…

I imagine it must be very quiet in Cook. Quiet as in "without sound."
