De retour en Afrique du Sud – Back in South Africa

Nous voila en Afrique de Sud encore une fois – mais le soleil nous manque. C’est la première fois qu’on soit là au mois de novembre, et bien qu’il ait fait chaud avant notre arrivée, maintenant il fait frais – voire froid ! Hier soir il a fait 11 degrés, et il pleuvait. Mais, quand-même, on a réussi à visiter des jardins pendant le weekend, pas loin de chez nous, à Elgin.


Here we are again in South Africa – not yet sunny Cape Town, for the most part. It’s the earliest we’ve been here, and although the weather was very warm before we arrived on 2^nd November, it’s been cool – even cold, since we got here (11 degrees and raining last night). But we did manage to get to see some gardens the weekend, in Elgin, not far from where we stay, but a region we haven’t previously explored.

Samedi,et je  porte un chemisier, une polaire, et une veste.  Saturday, wearing shirt, fleece and jacket.	Mais les roses sont superbes.	Des oies ici!  Geese here too.
Eikenhof – la  maison.  Il faisait un peu plus chaud – mais encore des nuage. Eikenhof – warmer, but still cloudy.
