Marée basse – il y a d’autre plages plus belles pas loin, mais ici il y a beaucoup de roches.
Low tide – there are nicer beaches not far, but here we have lots of rocks.

Maintenant qu’il y a un peu plus de soleil, on se promène un peu autour de notre appartement. On est dans une marina, à coté de la mer, mais vous voyez pourquoi on préfère la piscine ! Quand même, il fait toujours frais et aujourd’hui il y a le fameux vent fort du sud-est, ‘le médecin du Cap’ qui souffle. On dit ici que le vent enlève les bactéries et la pollution du Cap, mais il y a des jours ou on peut difficilement rester debout ! Pas si fort aujourd’hui, mais l’eau ne chauffe pas non plus.
Now that we are getting a little more sun, we’re walking around the marina where our apartment is located. It’s on the ocean but you can see why we prefer the pool most days. It’s still cool, and today there is the famous south easterly wind, the ‘Cape Doctor’. It’s said that the wind blows all the pollution and pestilence away from the Cape, but there are days when it’s hard to even stand up when it’s blowing. Not so bad today, but it doesn’t help to warm the water up.
